Knowledge Needed to Complete the Unit Assessment
Use the sample video clip provided in Aspen (or any other video you have) to follow along during class. We will show the following:
- Adding video and pics
- Trimming video and audio
- Adding audio and video to the timeline
- Extracting audio only or video only from a clip
- Transitions
- Titles
- Saving a video
What Do I Do With This Great Knowledge?
We will be creating a video in which we walk a viewer through the different components of a computer. But first, we need to learn about the inside and outside of a computer.

So What Exactly Are We Getting Graded On?
You will create a motherboard video tutorial that shows the following:
Heat Sink
Memory Slots and Expansion Slots
CPU
Transistor
USB and HDMI ports
Power Supply
Audio jack
Northbridge/Southbridge
Capacitor
Resistor
DAY 1: Create title slide, get background music, import pictures (same pic with arrows or individual pics that highlight different components)
Day 2: Video yourself explaining each component above and import the video into Premiere Pro. Begin editing.
Day 3: Complete your video and save to VIMEO!
You can use the picture of the motherboard below to complete your video assignment.
